Chips (standard pin numbering convention)

Chip pins are numbered counter clockwise around the chip
starting with pin 1.  So, where is Pin 1??  Pin 1 is identified 
by a small white dot and is normallylocated on the bottom 
left corner of the chip.  (Bottom left when the chip is held so 
that it's identifying number is readable.)

On the breadboard, A is used to denote the LSB
(least significant bit)
